I've had an interesting (and exciting) four days. Here are three words to start off my week:
1. HOME - I've been away for several days and while it's been great, it's good to be home again. Yes, there was tons of laundry to do (they tried, but it was still in stages), and I did have to hit the grocery store, but all of that just made me feel needed. Well, I wouldn't have minded if they'd finished the laundry. Regardless, it's great to come home to open arms and eyes that light up when they see you.
2. NOVEL - I was at a writers conference and it was wonderful. I took a novel I've been working on and a publishing company has asked to see the complete manuscript...so I have some completing to do. I am shocked, thrilled, and overjoyed -- not to mention scared.
3. SPRING - It's coming, isn't it? It's March, after all. That's a good sign. Our climate here is much milder than most, but regardless, the idea of spring makes me smile.
What's making YOU smile as we start this week?

Loved your description of coming home. And congrats on the novel request--exciting stuff!
The sun is shining here today, and it makes me anxious for spring.
I really enjoy your blog! I'm glad I found it.
how cool would it be to get published! I'm so ready for the spring warm up too
Great news about the novel! How exciting.
I am SO looking forward to spring. I saw the first beginning buds on a bush yesterday, and I was so excited.
I smile thinking back on our time at the conference and the homecoming too. A couple of what I thought were dead bushes have started unfurling their green leaves. Yeah!
The laundry never gets finished when you're away from home.
Well, actually, it doesn't get finished when we stay at home either.
What's up with that?
Congrats on your manuscript! You can do it.
Oh, yes. Spring is coming. Was here today to tease us with a temp of 71 degrees!
I was loving it.
Sweet dreams.

Im SO excited about the publishing companys interest! Thats fabulous! I truly hope it works out for you. Im working on a nonfiction book and I realize the time and effort required to get it done. Great Job!
Love your photo of the spring flowers. And congrats on your pending novel! How exciting!
Spring used to be my favorite season -- when I lived where there was a definite winter! Now, I'm just not sure which one I love best. Especially since I seldom know what season I'm in*
