Rises and falls,
Rises and falls.
A mingling of the sun, the moon, and the earth’s rotation, they say.
The surf bubbles in and out,
Gently, sweetly.
Other times, the waves roar in,
Splashing, sputtering with a touch of peril, a hint of risk.
The tides of change –
Sometimes they bubble, sometimes they roar.
Ever bringing originality, newness, freshness.
They carry yesterday’s legacy, though.
Mingling the past
with the present
and the future.
Linking up today with Mama Kat's Writer's Workshops.
How do you feel about change, new beginnings?

You know I love the ocean, right? You've captured it well in your poem.
I love the water and could feel it's rythm in your prose. I like new beginnings and change, sometimes....
That's beautiful!! I had to read through it a couple of times to let it sink in. Good job!
What great rythym:)
I love the metaphors here. The tides of our lives really can be compared to the ocean's waves, ever changing.
I really love this! You did a great job with the prompt!
