I'm linking up with Jenny Matlock today for Saturday Centus. You'll see Jenny's button at the bottom of the post if you'd like to link up anytime this week.
Today's prompt is "Before I die, I want to..." Jenny slashed the word count to only 15 additional words this week! That's okay. I only needed 14.
: : :
"Before I die, I want to hold a pink, lace-trimmed bundle of granddaughter. Boys, this is your mission; accept it."
(If you know me or have kicked around this site a bit, you know I have four -- count 'em, four -- sons...and a grandson. I love little boys dearly, but I'm waiting for the pink.)

I wouldn't mind another granddaughter myself!
=)
LOL, clever. I hope the boys come through for you ;-)
I adore this! There are so many women kicking around the blogosphere whose children are all males. I know quite a few who'd agree with this sentiment completely.
Pink is wonderful! I'm with you there!
Best wishes & hugs,
Anna

Yeah boys, what your mom said. chop chop, get on that.
what a wonderful wish!
Thank heavens, for little girls!! May your boys come through!!!
I hope you get one, or two, or three....~Ames
Agreed! Out of five boys, /surely/ one will provide me with a granddaughter, one of these days! ;)
Laura, I sure hope this happens for you!
Goooo Pink!
...and that little girl will be adored and protected by her big brothers/cousins; she will grow up as a tomboy trying to keep up with them all but she will eventually give in to the power of pink. Here's to your dream becoming reality!
Beautiful sentiments...
puerile ennui
There is no such thing as too many granddaughters! Hoope you get this wish.

How sweet and clever ! I could use a few more granddaughters myself...so fun to shop for ! Boys, do what Mom says !!!
I just want my sons to move out.
Nice thought .....
