My simple pleasure this week?
Hugs. Smiles. Exclamations that say, “I’m so glad to see you!”
It’s great having my students back. After all, they’re why I teach! I love my kids.
And as much as you try not to have favorites, there are those who always bring a smile to your lips.
Greeting them this week has been the best.

you sound like the kind of teacher every mom dreams of for their kid.....☺
I taught kindergarten for 7 years and loved it. And yes, there were some kids that just really made it all worthwhile. I've been back at my admin job at school for a week now but the kids don't start til September 5th. :) Hope your day is great. Tammy
Many blessings on your school year, Laura.
Fondly,
Glenda
I'm visiting from simple pleasures. I agree, hugs are one of the great joys in life!! I'm taking pleasure in them with you.
Blessings,
Patti
I know exactly what you mean about the whole thing. Hugs... students... and the ones that give you a special smile. It's all best described as simple pleasure.
Those hugs and smiles speak volumes.
And another school year begins. May you have many hugs this year. Your students are blessed to have such a caring teacher to greet them.
