Sometimes we get really busy. And I need some couch time. My simple pleasure this week is couch time -- time spent on the couch with my hubby, watching something together.
Sometimes something is on and we listen with one ear, while I work on the computer and he works on something else.
But I cherish that couch time -- the time we make time for each other, sitting on the couch, purposefully spending time watching, talking, laughing together.
Dayle at A Collection of This and That has hosted Simple Pleasures for 14 months, and she's laying it down. I've loved it! (Thanks, Dayle.) If anyone out there is going to take up the mantle, let me know! I love to slow down just a bit on Wednesday evenings as I contemplate simple pleasures.

We just enjoyed this last night, Laura! Even our two teenage boys joined in. :) Love that good family time!
It is special time. Especially now days when everyone is always so busy.
My hubby and I try to get a bit of couch time each night after kids are in bed and asleep.
